As promised, I’ll start posting some actual trips soon. There are a few types of posts to expect. The posts will be focused more on the logistics and planning than on in-depth reviews of the hotels, flights, etc.
Quick Trips
Some of our trips are bigger than others. A quick weekend getaway or similar trip is going to use a sorter format which will focus on the planning and then a post-mortem type of summary of how the trip went. Most one or two night trips will fall into this category. Some three night trips maybe also fit into this if the trip doesn’t have much new information. The reality is that not all trips are all that exciting or have much interesting new information to share!
Detailed Trips
For the bigger and more interesting trips, I’ll break out the planning for the hotel(s), flights, and other aspects in different posts. There will still be a summary at the end, but there will also be a sort of diary post for each day of the trip to detail the day to day logistics.
Travel Gadgets
I’ll mix in some reviews of some travel gadgets we’ve found useful. I’ll only recommend travel related gadgets we’ve actually used and can recommend. Having the right gadget at the right time can save your vacation!
Ask Tomatico

Posts have been few and far between so far as I’ve been gathering content and getting things set up with the site. There’s still a lot to do but I”m making progress behind the scenes.
