Takeaway

The focus of the trip was on our niece’s second birthday and the hotel took nothing away from that. It was a comfortable stay in a location that worked very well for us. We were able to find nearby street parking and avoid the standard crazy valet fees.

We didn’t fly, but it’s located right across the street from the Laguardia airport and has a free shuttle that takes you to the terminal. We obviously didn’t use it but I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this hotel if we needed to be near the airport.

While the concierge lounge did not serve a breakfast buffet, we did receive breakfast for two as a welcome gift due to our status. We got two vouchers, one for each day, but they took both vouchers the first day. This got sorted out at checkout and we were able to use the second voucher for breakfast the second morning. The lounge had some cereal and yogurt so two of had that for breakfast while the other two ate in the restaurant. This works well for our family because my wife and Tomatico (our oldest) are the foodies while myself and Gusanito (our youngest) are… not.

We had a great stay and I’ve already booked this property for a future trip to visit family towards the end of the year.
