The morning of our last full day would be spent playing golf at the Links at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach. We would then need to head towards the San Francisco area near the airport so we could catch our early morning flight the next day. We were looking for a convenient place to stay at minimal cost. We didn’t have any points or miles left to offset the cost so we’d be paying for the rooms. Breakfast would not be a consideration because we were leaving so early that it would be before any hotel would be offering breakfast.
Searching
I searched several properties based on price and location and I kept coming back to the same hotel we booked on points the first trip. We would be familiar with the location from our first stay and the price was right.
Booking
I booked two rooms for our last night at the Holiday Inn Express Belmont for $125 for each room. It came with free breakfast but we would be unable to take advantage due to the time our our flights. The hotel would be familiar and was conveniently located and well priced for the Friday night we were looking at.
Next up was deciding on the golf courses we’d be playing before we got to Pebble Beach and locking down tee times.
